Wolfgang Maluche

Wolfgang Maluche is the Vice President of Engineering at Volkswagen Group of America and leader of the Engineering Planning Center (EPC) in Chattanooga, TN. In his current role, Wolfgang Maluche is managing and coordinating VW’s engineering teams while serving as a central engineering contact within the US for strategic topics and coordination activities within the VW Group. His Engineering teams further support Volkswagen’s Chattanooga production, including the locally assembled ID.4, and are responsible for the testing of HV batteries at the recently opened Battery Engineering Lab (BEL), one of VW’s key facilities for high voltage battery activities in the North American region.

Wolfgang Maluche started his career at Audi AG in Ingolstadt, Germany where he held multiple roles in Procurement and Technical Project Management. He graduated from The University of Applied Science in Munich with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Engineering from Texas A&M University.
