Speaker Bio

Nocona is a senior associate on RMI’s Carbon-Free Transportation team, where he uses various analytical methods to support electric vehicle adoption efforts with a specific focus on medium- and heavy-duty vehicles. He utilizes trucking telematics data to determine optimal locations to deploy charging infrastructure and broadly assess electrification opportunities.

Prior to joining RMI, Nocona was a senior associate at Gladstein, Neandross & Associates, where he used technical analyses on the total cost of ownership, greenhouse gas emissions inventories, and fleet energy use profiles to inform the deployment of electric vehicles and their charging infrastructure. While at the University of Michigan, Nocona designed materials for energy-efficient LEDs and high-power electronics.
