Dr. Inalvis Alvarez
Inalvis Alvarez Fernandez is a Sr. Research Engineer in the Distribution Operations and Planning program at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI). Her current research activities focus on modeling and simulation studies for topics such as fleet electrification and assessment, impact of distribution resources, EV hosting capacity, reviewing transformer thermal ratings in high EV adoption scenarios, and measurement data processing and applications across planning and operations. She is also heavily involved with fleet electrification efforts, assessing grid and substation capacity for EV adoption. Before joining EPRI, Inalvis received her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
