Speaker Bio

Andrew Ickes is a Senior Fuels Engineer in the Chevron Technical Center. In this role, he is responsible for stewarding Chevron’s differentiated fuels technology, leading research programs to develop next generation fuels and fuel additives, and advising on technology strategy for future transportation fuels.

Prior to joining Chevron, he led a range of advanced combustion engines and fuels research programs at Argonne National Laboratory. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
